Madison County VOIP Phone System

Coming soon from our Technology Department will be a new VOIP phone system.  This will save the schools thousands of dollars per year and will also make it much more convenient for employees and parents trying to reach the schools.  Great job!

Technology PLU is almost complete

Many Thanks to Vickey for working with us on this PLU.  It is very convenient and also informative to have our own expert teach us new things about technology.

A Gerat Thanksgiving Break

Without a fall break the Thanksgiving Break was a welcome sight.  I am sue teachers and students alike were happy to see it here.  We now only have a few short weeks until Christmas.

Great Transportation Department

A big thank you to the Madison County Schools Transportation Department.  They maintain over 325 vehicles, that driver over 12,000 miles per day.  Almost 11,000 students ride a bus each day.  What an awesome responsibility and one that is done in an efficient and professional manner.

State Monitoring is Over!

Glad that state and federal monitoring is over for another year.  The Madison County School System did very well and proved what we already know, this is a great system!  Congratulations to all who made this a successful process.

Election day is coming (not soon enough)

It is amazing that nationally and locally no one is giving more than lip service to our schools and the economic plight they  face every year.  All we hear is cut taxes and create jobs.  That is a great plan, but without adequate schools we will never have the work force we need to compete in a global economy.  It is time we in education quit whining about not having enough money, lay the facts on the table and pressure these so called conservatives to provide for our students.  I am sure we will not get new tax revenue, but at least after the election we can suffer in silence without the politicians promises.
